In a skid row of the Bolivian capital La Paz, Cistercians of the Abbey Seligenthal in Landshut (Germany) support the largest school of the South American country. Furthermore, they provide a home for those children whose parents are not in a position to take great care of their offspring.
Beyond providing assistance with poverty, medical condition and social distress, the Cistercian nuns and their staff of the COLEGIO AVE MARIA aim for an enduring improvement of people’s life situation. They enable children to attend school and thus offer them a possibility to permanently assure their living.
In line with our social commitment we support this project and have adopted sponsorships for children of the COLEGIO AVE MARIA in La Paz (Bolivia).
